My favorite places in Craiova
Nicolae Romanescu Park
Nicolae Romanescu Park known over time as the Bibescu Park, the Independence Park or the People's Park, is located on the site of the mid-19th century estate and gardens of the Bibescu family. It is considered the largest natural park in Eastern Europe. The park was built in a romantic style, a synthesis of landscape architecture and painting. It also contains a big zoo!

What I like about it
The performances usually take place in the Romanian language, but sometimes the venue caters the performers from the other countries.
Colorful Musical Fountain
It makes for a great place to sit back and relax after a day full of sightseeing and other activities. Pleasant music and light effects accompany the decorative fountain. It is right in the city centre making it close to majority of the main attractions of the city, such as the Art Museum, 3 cinemas, the main University and many others!
Address:
Mihai Viteazul Square
What I like about it
It is a great spot to enjoy music and cool off in the summer! During winter time, it is transformed into a skating ring, still keeping the music!
